My first love

Whether designing packaging, clothing, homewares or my Able Creative brand identity, so many of the products I have worked on incorporate graphics, paint and pattern.

I spent my final year degree living and breathing colour whilst creating a collection of repeat patterns for interior fabrics using screen print techniques. More recently I’m enjoying exploring digital print for fabric and honing my skills with AI technology to create some stunning combinations.

Let’s just say, a piece of me does a little dance inside when I get to work on new pattern designs.

Print-making

Much of my finished digital work starts off with a hand made element. I love the high contrast between inks and paper; the process often creating unexpected marks which I can take into new shapes and forms.

The below designs were made using a combination of Geli plate printing , acrylic ink and paper-cut to achieve the lettering.

Just for fun…

Art journalling is purely a pleasure project for me. It keeps my style free and open as well as clearing my mind after a day staring at the screen. Here I created feathers in ProCreate then took them into the sketch book alongside mixed media marks.
