The brief:
In addition to designing and sourcing the ‘Fearless’ range of costumes, I was responsible for the overall look and feel of photography for this within the Karnival product range.
Photos were to be used across varying platforms from the client’s own wholesale e-catalogue to Amazon product listings.
Detailed knowledge of the market was key to shooting appropriately styled images aimed at their target market and retail price point.

My thoughts:
When I’ve designed a range of commercial costumes, lived and breathed every detail to get that photography sample in on time and to the correct spec- it’s the icing on the cake for me to oversee the photography.
It’s a great feeling to come together with models, make up artist and photographer to shoot the images that will ultimately sell the finished products online.
An immense amount of hard work goes into sourcing the models, creating mood boards, shot lists, call sheets and running the day efficiently- but so much job satisfaction!
